New headphones for a 1236

My Mom's 1236 X2 seems to need a new set of headphones as hers keep shorting out. Rather than trying to fix the old ones I told her that we should try upgrading to a better set and save the old ones as back ups. Can any one offer suggestions on the best models to use on her 1236 X2? I see Kellyco offers the Accusound Gold and the Depthmaster 2100 that might work with the 1236. I do not metal detect but I gave her the 1236 about 3 years ago and she has enjoved this present and this sport more than anything that I have ever given her over the last 40 years.

I have always used cheapie $20 headphones, but just bought a pair of $50 Black Widows. I do not like them, the sounds are not not the same. The Widows make everything sound like junk... all crisp tones, nothing mellow. I know the round sound, and it just does not come through on these Widows. In their favor, they do fit really well and are comfortable to wear, and block more exterior noise. But for finding good stuff, I'd rather have something else.

I have to agree with Steve, the Killer B's are good, great sound and feel.
