New & Improved RNB Batt Pack and Charger

RNB

New member
All though our ML-2900 Batt Packs are Proven to be the Absolute Best Batt Pack you can buy anywhere........

We Have Just Released a New and Improved Batt Pack for the Minelab FBS Machines....

They are now 3100mAh which will last longer and with other small improvements on the PCB Board...

Our cost for a limited time will be only $139.99

We don't make one for the CTX...

I think Minelab did a great Job on the Li-Ion Batt Pack for the CTX

Great Question D&P-OR

The 3100mah battery is the one I'm running and my hunting partner also. I would be lost without it.

How long does it take to charge and do you recommend run it all the way down before recharging?

It takes less than 2 hours to charge and you can run it all the way down or top it off when ever you like....I has no Memory so you cannot hurt the Batt Pack...

Has any detector manufacturer endorsed the use of RNB batteries in their products yet?
How much do they want for such an endorsement BTW?

How much more running time (detecting time) for the 3100 over the 2900?--all things being equal.

Depending on the Machine.... A couple more hours...

When I purchased my Etrac I already had a RNB 3100 waiting for it..When I received the battery
I plugged it in to find out the RNB Charger was bad...I got ahold of the RNB dealer I purchased the 3100 from who then
got a hold of RNB ,who had had a replacement charger in the mail the next day...I received the charger and still havent
needed to charge the battery as of this time...I think I have around 15 hour on it with full bars still showing....Best thing
I ever purchased for my Etrac....I want to say thank you to the gentleman who shipped my charger so quickly! Sorry!
I havent needed to use it yet:thumbup:

"Note"
I measured the Battery Voltage with my Voltage Meter and the battery was charged to 11.5 volts,
Not even a full charge on the battery and still going strong!!

I really appreciate your courtesy in taking the time to reply. ;) It's a legitimate question.

Why don't you go ask the Manufactures and see what they say?

Then you can come back in here and report!

And we don't pay anybody for endorsements..

Things are very good! I don't get out as much as I want due to my boys sports they play and the fact that I am always bombarded with work but Life is Good!!

Thanks for asking!

I will endorse their product but I paid full price just like anyone else.

I am always willing to say something about a product when it is truly that good!!

I DID go to the manufacturer , YOU.
An endorsement from any of them would be a terrific feather in an accessory manufacturers cap and dispel the ever present question of warranty issues that pop up every time someone brings up the matter of Li batteries. Good business says good endorsements lead to greater sales--I don't care if you pay them for the pat or not because I doubt a White's or Minelab is going to endorse something which they have no confidence in. Of course it cuts into the sales of their own batteries which makes their approval of using your product all that much more meaningful. I imagine whatever White's might ask for an endorsement Minelab would want 3x that amount.

For the record , I use the RNB myself and couldn't be happier with it but I also realize there are viable altrenatives such as the latest generation of rechargable NiMh batteries.
You might consider dismounting that defensive high horse you're riding. :)

A company usually has to pay out royalties for endorsements. I never heard of any athlete wearing shoes from a successful company for the absents of money, as a freebie. So why would RNB pay any kind of royalty for their successful product?
Word of mouth of a great product keeps profits within and cost down.
