Has anyone heard if White's is coming out with a new detector in the near future? I've only been MDing for a little over a year and was curious how often they "upgrade" their machines.
 
[size=large]the first mxt came out in 2000. the up-grade came out in 2010. the xlt came out in 93-94. it was discontinued in 2010. the dfx came out in 1999. the v3 replaced in as top machine around 2008. then the v3i around 2010 then the vx3 in 2011? you can only do so much with electricity. i would think maybe they as well as everyone else is racing for the 3-D version of things. just a quess.
