Hi members i've just found this site so poppin in to say howdy. I live in Shrewsbury UK ive been detecting many years had some good finds. I didnt do much last year due to arthritis of the hip, but i'm now 5 weeks post op after having hip replacement, another few weeks & i'll hittin the dirt again. While i was in hospital the guy in the next bed is farmer who farms 430 acres so i've got permission to search that hopefully should produce some good finds.Anyway i'll say cheerio & lookin forward to some good detectin banter....Alan

good day, been digging for years, hunt director for the Calgary club, just last week I was out on a good hunt with about 12 of are members, pulled a silver ring,silver earring and 62 quarter, 61 dime, on the way home my gti2500 got sucked out the back of my truck and was run over and over, bad day , had it for long time, so had to buy a new one, looked at fisher f75, garrett infinuim, whites mxt,and the whites tdi sl, well tomorrow my new tdi sl will arrive, ive been looking for forums that had the tdi and yours has a few people who seem to know whats what, heres the finds from are hunt last week

Hi tabdigger64, you've got some nice finds there, if your in the market for a new detector have you considered a teknetics t2 i'm looking at getting one they're supposed to be very good & deep.
