New Minelabs.

Anyone know anything about these 2 new detectors.
Sorry I know they are not Explorers models but one of you guys might know the answer.

Kellyco had a web page up about them but it looks like they've now removed it.

The page said there were 2 models: XTerra 30 & 50. Both are lightweight (2.9 pounds), single frequency, with tone and LCD ID and a new tech they call VFlex or something like that.

The new links don't have as much info as the original links but I heard the new models will be "officially" released on Monday so there may be more data then.

You don't want to confuse these new models with the multi-frequency Explorer or Sovereign series. They were designed to compete against a mid-range (price/feature) model group and will do quite well.

I heard they are 'officially' going to be released Monday and I also heard the 1st of November. It doesn't really matter when because they are going to be very well received and some decent competition.
