New park has the goods!

Me and a friend hit a new park today for 2.5 hours and I pulled out a 1919 merc with some nice bluish toning for a total of 10 silvers this year! He got a 1943 merc in good shape. Also the usual clad, and a large chunk of lead with gouges and gear-teeth marks in it? The second picture is the find of the year so far that I mentioned in my first post, the George Washington Inaugural button Eagle and Star type! Believe me I have pounded the area around where I found it to hopefully find another, but to no avail. Still hard to believe I found something more rare than a gold coin...

Very nice finds! Congratulations and thanks for the pictures.

Sorry, I should have clarified more. The GW button was found previously at a different house site, I just wanted everyone to see that there are rare items to be found, especially when you don't expect it! The home site also had two 1798 and one 1808 large cents, 1842 Canada half penny token, 1919 Canadian large cent, 13 other buttons including 2 matching sets of 4 tombac buttons with two separate designs. I have had a bunch of cool finds and I didn't want to post them all at once. More cool pictures to follow!
