New PI Discrimination Patents

A

Guest
US 6326790 B1 and US 6326791 B1 are both PI discrimination patents that I haven't read completely yet, but one is saying what Candy said about "first order targets" and more complex targets, in a far more simplier way.
Anyway for all you patent junkies (like me) and homebrewers this may be useful information. (or not ,which is what the forum is for).
Of course these can be downloaded from the US patent office after installing the proper plugin to view the files. Don't know if you need to put in the B1 or not for the number, I found them searching.
Should generate some discussion by those deep in the subject of discrimination in PI detectors (tough problem).
Have fun.

Thanks for finding those... I'll get PDFs and put on Geotech.

Hi Carl,
Do you have a possible time frame as to when the patents will be listed on your site?
Thanks,
Reg

Hi Carl
How do you get PDFs? (other than off your site) Is this something I can do and just missed, or do you make pdfs after downloading one sheet at a time, which is what I do now. Your site is very nice for getting these, by the way.

I get them through a subscription service. I would NEVER have enough time to do them all myself!
Let me know if you find any I've missed... been trying to dig out some of the more esoteric geophysical patents lately.

Hi Carl,
Boy that was quick. I have just wandered through both of them and now have a few new ideas.
Thanks again,
Reg

I glanced at them today... the pinpointer one is the Periscope PI probe.
