New PI Machine AuQuest

and not designed by Eric. Gold nugget PI from Auquest with coarse and fine manual GB. Already harsh words and accusations on several
forums about the upcoming Minelab/Auquest PI war. As Gomer used to say "Surprise,Surprise,Surprise"

Best you stay in your foxhole and hunker down and let the OZ prospectors fight it out.

George

This is a open PI forum isn't? George , I was just posting a question
about a new PI detector I found on the web nothing more.:detecting:

:usaflag:
Thanks

First
I thought I answered your question.
"Is this one of Eric's Fosters PI designs called the AuQuest ???"
Second
OZ prospectors can only resolve the questions about the GD1000 as we in the US can not import it here.
Third
Everyone who visits this forum is keenly interested in new PI technology. Indeed anyone who has experience with the GD1000- well I am certain his input and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

My position is clear- Let the actual users of this new PI debate the merits and the downsides of this new detector. At present there are only a few in the field in OZ and sufficient feedback is not present. A number of folks have already condemned the detector and the messenger without ever having used it.

From past experience I understand the last sentence all too well. While there are a lot of folks who sincerely desire new technology, there is going to be severe hostility toward new non-Minelab PI technology in the nugget hunting area. Let's debate detectors and not attack the reputation of posters.

I hope I have made myself clear
Happy Hunting

"First Off" no one attacked your reputation or you, I don't even know you. I just posted a photo and asked a question about a PI metal detector period and if you took offense by my post that was not my intention to make you mad, sorry you took offense:shrug:

Happy Hunting
Hope I Made Myself Clear

Your original reply suggested that you wanted to create a ruckus here. Posting a GD1000 thread on some PI forums will create some lively and heated exchanges. My reply to you was an effort to remind folks to keep it civil and informative in the expected debate to follow.

Certainly not offended Buster
Good Luck
George

Hi George
That's not my style to create a ruckus on the forum, I guess I should have done more research on the detector, it does look like a
light machine. The web site I looked at didn't say what company
manufactured the machine. Thank you, lets start over:)

I believe it is pure VLF.

As you probably know....Eric's Goldscan5 and Dave Emery's Pulse Devil are now stirring the interests of Australian prospectors and from all accounts will be unearthing big nuggets this winter down here !!

Tony.

Hi Tony
I have seen Eric's Goldscan5, it looks like a Super PI for nugget hunting. I don"t know about the pulse devil, do you have a link to the web site?

Buster

No web-site as yet.

Most information is on various gold prospecting forums/threads.

Early days yet for both machines but both with great futures...no doubt.

Tony.

Well it looks nice but hay at $4400 I think its a better to go with a known winner like minelab if you are going to spend that kind of cash.
