New Poster-Prayer Request

New member
I have been following this forum for over a year now and never posted until now. I have been at the hobby 25 plus years. This spring I hope to try out 2 brands I have never used. Nautilus and Minelab--- Any input would be appreciated. I do relic hunting and coin hunting here in Iowa about half and half. I had an interview at a christian college for an IT position this morning. The interview went very well. Pray for me to get this job since it will mean more time for my family and more money to pay off the bills. I should know within a week. My favorite verse is 2nd Chronicles 7:14. If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray. This looks like a verse for success in your life. Take care everybody and God bless....Paul from Iowa....

Glad to see you posting, and I will certainly pray for this request. May God bless you with this job.
Many relic hunters out east use the Nautilus detectors. I use the Minelab Explorer for old deep coins, and relic hunting out east and all over.
Feel free to pick my brain any time on the Explorer.

God bless.

Mike

Welcome Paul and may the Lord give you the wisdom in purchasing the detector that is best for you in your territory! May God grant your desire for the new job and bless you with favor in getting it to be with your family more and to support them! Many job hunters out there, but God is with those who seek Him in prayer in Jesus' name and though He may not answer right away, He will answer and provide the right one for His Childrens' good and for HIs purpose! Our God is good and is good all the time and is always on time in HIs timing which may not be ours, soooo keep the faith that all will be okay, for He is our Provider and gives us peace that passes our own understanding! Amen! Ma Betty

Minelabs are good detectors but very hard to learn. The Fisher is very easy to learn in my opinion. Good luck which ever one you choose.

Welcome to the forum. I will pray for you.
Here in Ky I use a minelab x-terra 70 I bought used on the forum. I just bought the 10.5dd 7.5 khz coil. It seems to go really deep and I just found a find of a life time. I will be posting a picture in the next week or so. I alos hunt coins and use a 6inc dd coil and stock coil and do well with it also. You can pick up used x-terras pretty cheap now.

Welcome to the Christian forum, Paul. I began using White's machine in the late 70's. I switched to Garrett machines many years ago but have also owned one of White's newer models. A little more than a year ago, I switched to the Minelab stable and haven't looked back since. My present machine is the Minelab Safari and it so easy to use. It's powerful, deep seeking, comfortable to swing for hours on end and battery consumption is 25-35 hours per set of batteries. I've not owned a Nautilus but have owned detectors from the Tesoro team and found them to be accurate and easy to use, however they weren't my cup of tea. Everyone I know that owns a Minelab truly enjoys using their machines and wouldn't think of replacing them with another brand. Again I wish to say you will be in my prayers for success for the proposed IT position.

Very nice to "meet" you. Minelab is the brand in our house, but I've heard good things about Fishers as well.
