My question is< I am a water hunter, have lots of sand on the shaft. How do the push button locks hold up to being covered in sand all the time. I know the shafts if not rinsed off before they dry will lock up and that can be a major problem.

Good question, and to tell the truth I have used mine only a few times in water, rinsed it out as soon as I could and have not seen a problem.
It is new and really has not had a lot of testing in that area.
