Looks like a redesign of the old Magnum scoop. Anyone who has the original Magnum knows what I mean and it IS my go-to scoop. Can't say enough about this one. Only difference between the original and this one is the handle setup and angle. It definitely catches the small stuff that would be lost with my other scoops. I love it!

Nice scoop. I just received my sunspot stealth 8' classic and look forward to getting it wet today. I saw the ad for the T-rex in the western and eastern january issue and it's an impressive scoop. HH

I have a T-Rex and a RTG scoop. After using the T-rex it is the only scoop I am using now. I have 2 T-rex scoops. A earlier version i got and was very happy with, then Ronnie sent me the one which he is selling now. The newer scoop is made from thicker metal and the handle housing is a little bigger making it easy for the handle to slide into alone with some other mods. Still lighter then the RTG scoop that is now collecting dust. It is very well made and I have put it to the test with no problems. You can get the handle at Home Depot. It is ash wood and i think it is 46in long. only about $9 or so....Ronnie @ Gold Digger made a great scoop....

I have had the T-Rex since Ronnie started selling this version and cannot say enough good about it....It is strong and well designed...sure beats my old RTG scoop...I forget what day I got mine, but I have had it most of the summer and have
not been polite to it...it is like a Timex watch...takes a licking and keeps on digging...Great Scoop.

All I need now is a rare earth magnet to stick in my scoop and I'm good to go. Yesterday, some small chain and some hair clips kept slipping out of my scoop.
