New sniper coil on my Vaq and a little luck = GOLD!

REVIER

Well-known member
Got rained out at an older park site where I was looking for some deeper targets but later in the day after the rain I went to a Jr. college near the house just to kill time in the relatively cool and overcast weather.
I had no business hunting this huge area with very few signals with only this small coil, but I just gave it a shot and wandered aimlessly around for a bit and once again lady luck blessed me with some yellow goodness.
1.8 grams of 14k...it's small but it counts and I am still on track to try to hit my goal of 12 pieces of gold in any form for this year.

Loud and clear on the Vaq, just a couple of inches deep and a solid signal just below nickel in the high foil area.
I dig all solid trash signals for this exact reason...always!

Good one! Luck + time + effort = 14K gold ring.

Dude that looks amazing, and its solid. My 10k ring was broken so kudos to you!

Great find! I have the same coil for my Vaquero and keep it on almost all the time.

I have a feeling this one will become my favorite coil most of the time when I use the Vaq, and I will use it more often at trashy sites now, too!

Wellity, wellity, wellity! Heres that danged old Revier with some gold again! Nice work old Pal!:clapping:

Darn good job there. I also have that same coil on my Vaq. I never take it off. I don't get in much of a hurry when I hunt. The more you use that coil, the more you will love it. Keep up the good luck. More will come... KEN

Yea, this was only like my 5th hunt with it.
One longer one and a few short ones just to try it out.
A vaq and my favorite kind of coil, a sniper...what's not to love?

Since it never reacts with most soil I have made it my mission to clean up and take all the golden trash that I can out of the environment down below.
It ain't easy being green, as Kermit and I well know. :jump:
