New T2 original coming

Just looking for some general hints on how to get the most out my T2 that is on the way. From what I have read this machine locks its numbers on coins pretty well. That is one of the things I did not like about an F70 I had. I only hunt coins. Thanks

Hello Pastor Bob,

About nine years ago, shared my experience on this forum with the T2 using bottle cap mode (3b). I don't know if your T2 Classic has the 3b mode? But if it does it's great in extremely trashy parks, trust me you'll clean up and avoid pretty near all trash and bottle caps.

However, Only dig 2-way signals 83 and above. Avoid 2-way signals coming in at 81-82 pass them up.

I'll paste my thread below from 2007, it really works!

All the best,
Paul

Avoid one-way signals" and don't dig two way signals that read 81-82 when your disc is set to maximum (80.)

Some bottle caps that bleed over and fall into 81-82 may be one-way signals and those that come in as a two-way signal reading 81-82 avoid them as well, Dig only two-way signals reading 83 and above.

You can take the T-2 with it's large coil onto a bottle cap infested site and pull out clad by the handful, The recovery speed is amazing not even the Explorer can operate this fast with a smaller coil recovering clad coins.

Once a T-2 user gets dialed in with his machine, He'll clean up on clad from his locale bottlecap infested sites in no time.

Keep working on this 3b mode, Allot of coins in that trash others are leaving behind.

HH, Paul
