New T2 question about upgrade

If I bought a brand new T2 SE from one of the prominent dealers today, will it still need to be up graded to bring it up to the highest standard? If yes, when will the next T2 be out that does not need to be upgraded? Or should I say, when is the new T2 coming out that is already upgraded.

The T2SE models being sold now have the upgrades.
 
You would have to specify to the dealer the model you wanted to buy.

It is possible that some dealers may have old new stock. (Prior model) ...........

Yes! I would say most prominent dealers have the latest release..but some may also have the last model too.
