New Time Ranger only 2 tones?

Received my new time ranger today and it appears to only have 2 tones?
Low tone iron,nickles,gold,tabs,since and high tone for copper pennies on up.
Is something wrong?
I thought it is suppposed to have 3 tones?
Do I need to return it to Amazon?
 
Never mind,it has 3 tones but the low and mid tones are so close for old ears that it's hard to distinguish.
