New to dirt digging

I am moving from digging in sand at the beach to exploring some local ballparks. Way harder to dig in dirt than the sand. Can anyone offer any special techniques for popping those targets out??

Digging dirt is easier after a rain, or work the shaded areas until it rains!

Dude, Uncle Willy's technic is gonna take some time to master. It's not as easy as it looks. He's a master. If I was you, I'd just invest in a Leche digger. Unbreakable and cuts those plugs like cuttin' butter.Happy Hunting!
