New to EX-II and this site

New to this site and have read some great information. Just wanted to let all know that I got my Explorer II about a half year ago. I have been detecting about 25 years, and the explorer at time's got me frustrated because it was nothing like my other machines. I was going to let it go, but now it has became my first pick when going out, so all the others are back-up or for when someone comes along. Just a different learning curve that took me some time. My main point is that the information on this site kept me trying and made the difference.
Reading all the posts and the photos are great for those rainy days.
Thanks all.......

Thanks.... my first hit with the Minelab was my steel toe shoes. It sure a was confusing start but but once I figured that out my first dig was a dime in my backyard. Somehow I missed it with other machines, but being deep it didn't get by the Explorer-II. I wasn't sure what it was but it was a good start. Been cleaning up more on areas I cleaned before. I think some days I'm a pull tab pro. Get a bonus along with them once in awhile which keeps me going again and again.
