After a 4 1/5 year absence, I'm getting back into the hobby. I previously owned a 1266x which I sold when I determined I had no time to use it. I did a lot of digging with the 1266x which I didn't mind at all. I'd rather dig than miss something. I just never got use to the constant chatter. After a fair amount of research, I purchased an Eldorado. It seemed right for me. That said, with exception of the (1266x) chatter and dual discrimination, what can I expect out of the Eldorado? I assume it may not be as deep, but the posts on the forms seem to indicate it's a great machine. If you have any tips or tricks, I'd love to hear them. I'm hoping to get out by early next week.
