Just ordered my first Tesoro (Sand Shark) today. Can't wait to hit the beach with it!
 
yes welcome, you got the P,I machine that would be my choice if i was hunting a beach , I bet it will ignore most junk foil and those nasty black sand layers
 
You will love it, It's a great machine for the money. I've had mine for 2 yrs now. Just learn the SS very well. Good luck.:cheers:
 
Just received my second Tesoro in the mail today, a Compadre. I'll be hitting the sports fields tomorrow.
 
I dont have the Compadre but do have the Sand Shark and i bet you tried the Sand Shark on land and it went off every where lol. You are going to love the Compadre on land especially coming from the Sand Shark. The Sand Sharks home is in or near the ocean. HH today

I love to hunt sports fields with my compadre , I set the disc to the o in iron and dig full hard crisp beeps . A great detector!
