Welcome Terry! I saw your post on FMDF, and was going to point you here, but I guess thatI don't have to.TerryETex said:The last machine I owned had a manual ground balance, my first one. One last thing. I have tried to sign up and/or log in on the Minelab home site. I fill out the form and it states that I will get a email to activate my account. I've tried three times over the last couple of days and I have received nothing. Any Idea's. Thanks for the help. Terry
Digger said:Welcome to the X-TERRA forum. I think you'll find the X-TERRA to be a great detector. If I might offer a few suggestions...... take a look at the eBook I wrote entitled Understanding your X-TERRA. It is available as a free download at Minelab's website. And there is a link for it toward the top of these posts. Next, take a look at the FAQFAQ section. Lots of frequently asked questions in there! Third, if you have a particular subject you want to learn more about, do a search of this site using key words. And most important, don't hesitate to ask questions. There are a LOT of very nice folks on here that understand how to get the most out of their X-TERRAs. Again, welcome! HH Randy
