New to the hunt

What type of detector are you using? SL52 offered great advice! Scan slow, keep the coil low and learn what the detector is telling you. Unfortunately, bottle tops, foil, pull tabs, ferrous items and other metallic garbage is part of the hobby. Try not to get discouraged with the junk. I know I dig more then my fair share :ROFLMAO:. Welcome to Finds and be sure to ask questions.

Welcome to the life. Biggest tip II can give you ....finds or trash please cover you plugs. Leave it as you never been there

Have fun, learn about what you find and the history of the area you’re in. As said a lot of trash gets pulled up but when you find your first old coin or ring the hurt of digging the trash magically goes away.
