I used to own an Explorer 11 and believe me your wife is not the only person who has complained about its' weight and unbalanced nature.
From the tone of your questions it appears that you are not aware that discrimination in P Is is ether nonexistent or unrelible. No tone I D like the Explorer or Iron Mask ect.
Beach hunters here don't mind digging everything in sand because of the P I's incredible depth over VLFs in this environmnt.
Appears your wife is a good candidate for a Goldquest P I.

Maybe yes, and maybe no. If the HH VLF were operating in neutral mineralized ground, it may have a good foundation. If we start getting into any mineralization the HH PI is going to start showing off.
