Whites PI. 3000?

Hi Dave
I don't own a PI detector jet. But from my point of view (technical) check out the Goldquest. If I need to buy one I would get a Goldquest. It locks to me the best choice for your case.
The technical specs are excellent. Check out some user comments about the Goldquest too. The GQ is light weight, super sensitiv to jewelry/coins and has all the adjustments you need for the job.....other detector not!
I don't want to promote this detector to you, I'm not a promoter..... above is only my personal opinion about the Goldquest based on technical specs.

Hello,
I live in Italy and I have a Whites PI3000.
So far I found a lot of coins and some jewerly. It is very steady and effective. Unfortunately I had no chance to try any other brand so I'm unable to say if it's the best one or not. For sure, it misses some jewerly, expecially small silver and gold chains...

I also hunt on Fl. beaches. I have owned the Goldquest SS and now have the Goldquest Aquaquest. I think the Goldquest is the best unless you want to hunt in the water then the Goldquest Aquasearch. However, if you want the best then the Aquastar is the tops.

Best of all, they are lightweight and very sturdy. I recently purchased a Goldquest SS, as I wanted the best detector possible, within my budget constraints.
