New to the XP Deus.

Not to detecting though,I used a Whites M-6 for the last 13 years,it is on it's way out so I ordered a Deus.The field I hunt has been a turf farm for 15 years,before that they grew crops there for centuries,it is 112 acres,it goes back to 1635 and has produced some pretty nice stuff,gold rings,old silver and super cool relics,it is also private property,in the 8 years I've hunted it never saw any evidence of anyone else detecting there,I even have a key for the gate. Looks like I'll be finding new deeper stuff now.

Chris, I went from a Whites DFX to a Deus 1 some years back and then to the D2 a couple of years ago. You will be amazed at what you left in the ground with your old Whites machine. I loved my old DFX but the Deus platform is just superior. Happy hunting!

How was the learning curve after using the DFX?

I took to the D1 right away. The settings just seemed to be more intuitive and I learned quick. If you wanted to, you could just stick with the stock programs and still do great. Are you getting a D1 or a D2?

How was the learning curve after using the DFX?

I went basically from analog beep and digs and its only as complicated as you make it. Learning on feature at a time rather than all at once definitely helps

Can’t go wrong with the D2 imo. You will become one with it, and that will produce the goods.
