new top end fisher

Fisher has dropped there top end Fisher f75 metal detector down to $599.00 I would bet we will see a new top end detector by mid August. Is there anyone thinking the same thing???

It makes sense.

I believe the $599.00 model is the regular F 75. Not the top of the line F 75 LTD/Se with boost and cache mode and DST. Great detector and price, none the less. HH jim tn

Yes it only has 4 modes.

"Marty, where we are going we don't need...modes."

I got an F70, no modes except if you want to count all metal and disc as different ones, just a pretty full compliment of different settings I can tweak and change and sometimes do because I just love that stuff.
If I had specific modes, (which are just achieved using the already on board settings set to some chosen factory levels), I doubt I would use them much even though many do and regard this as a prime feature.
I suppose I could start off with one mode but I would probably tweak them them so much looking for my own personal favorites in the difficult soil I hunt that it would be just as fast and easy to set them to the levels I want from scratch.
Once I find certain setups that work I file them away and can get to them fairly quickly and efficiently even after a master reset, plus mine and the F75 both keep their previous settings when powered down so that is nice.

Add up all the features this thing has, even without the few extras the still top price models possess, to get this thing at the prices I am hearing dealers actually selling them for you are getting a flagship at mid range price points.
That includes the T2 classic, also.
Pretty cool I think.

At least one dealer has said this offering also has DST so a little bonus there if it does.
