New update from Doug and Carol

A painful evening.

Posted 52 minutes ago

This fracture seems to be more painful than usual. Brian told me last night that he worried the rods were bent in the tibia because the entire bone hurt. We'll know more Wednesday when we go to the orthopedic clinic to have it put in a cast.

Brian had a great weekend leading up to the fracture. Carol said he played more than usual and was in much better spirits.

This morning we have a CT scan scheduled for 11am at Children's.

Our family would like to thank Carol's co-workers who prayed for Brian and our family yesterday.

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!

It gives us great comfort knowing that we aren't fighting this battle alone.

Carol's supervisor was at the emergency room with a sick child the same time we were there with Brian. Please keep them in your prayers. We hope he is feeling better today.

Also, please pray for one of Carol's co-workers who has liver cancer. He is a young father of three and also goes to Vanderbilt for treatment.

Thank you!!!

Doug and Carol
