Ziggy J

Active member
The big announcement is here: we have a new member of DeepTech Vista Family!

During the next 2 days you'll be seeing glimpses of the new features of our newest unit.

Keep close look on our page to be the first to know more about the features of the newest member of Vista family.

More info coming soon!

Some of you have seen tests of it but now it's official - this will be the new standard coil for the new detector.

You were asking about this for quite some time! Now the battery box is completely new and much easier to use!

"I LIKE it...I like it...I wanna TRY one!"

Looks like a cool 'drop-in' battery pack AND the headphone socket is also easily accessible and in a good place for a L angled jackplug...

All Looks good. I've been outnabout with an all-tone Sov and not missing a meter...so willing to give this a go"

Watching closely!

More to come shortly folks :0)

Nice to see the good folks at DeepTech are listening to the customers Ziggy!
I believe that is the determining characteristic that is going to be the make or break factor for the manufacturers in the coming years.
Now about that discriminator....:clapping:

If it has more disc than just the foil disc, it would get my attention.

Think the guys will be pleasantly surprised with this unit, especially Tesoro fans---take a good look at this machine when the pictures are posted.

Will an angular coil such as this perhaps be less susceptible to EMI and target falsing? It’s looking pretty neat-o so far!

Finally the size of the box!... It's 2,5 TIMES smaller than the previous one!
And it's equally easy to use both from left-handed and right-handed people ;)

I have suggested this change, to a smaller control box would be a big plus.
Yes, DT has done it!

Looking like lot's of improvements can't wait to see the whole thing. One more day.

Every market is different. Every group of detectorists needs different features from a detector and no detector can satisfy all needs.

The newest Vista detector was originally initiated as a perfect fit for the USA market. As we progressed with the design, we realized that it also has its perfect place on the European market.

With operating frequency of 16 kHz and its (WIDE DISCRIMINATION) it will be of interest to all park hunters or detectorists who work on poluted sites as it will be possible to reject foils, pulltabs, cans etc.

WIDE DISCRIMINATION...not that well - the main demand from US users who want to cherry pick US coins. Likely other uses for it, but in Europe, this particular demand wasn’t demanded to that degree.

Of course, there are no doubt other changes/improvements.

Not finished with all the Information yet

Other than the large battery box hanging off the end and the funny shaped coil, what sets this aside from any other beep & dig detector? Sounds like a lot of excitement about this detector. I must be missing something.
