I keep getting the impression that the new coil is multi freq and have been told by a dealer here in the UK that it is .
So the new freq's will all be in the same coil or coils and work together ?? it will be good for the salt wet if true.

I think Andy made it quite clean it is not going to be multi frequency. At least not in the sense of simultaneously.

I have been told that by him but have been told other things by others so will have to wait and hope for what we want. Just wish it would hurry up though .

Older machines like the Teknetics Mark One and probably Whites 6000 di pro could. To date the Mark
One is IMHO unmatched in target and tone ID in good ground

The Deus in full tones is the closest to sounding like the Mark one but I have not had a chance to practice with it yet.

Regarding the 4.75 x 9.5, why on earth didn't XP make it a closed coil. It just begs for woods hunting and without being closed it's stick snag city.
