New XP Deus

Excal1

New member
Hey guys & gals, I am Bobby Gaston and it's been a while since I've been on forum, but I am in the process of getting a new XP Deus and anyone have any new tips tricks or info to pass along.?

Load up the Basic program and start hunting and having fun. As you progress, you can starting getting into the advanced features.

Bottlom line is, the Deus is a super easy unit to use and fun right out of the box.

Buy Andy's book. There have have some good posts lately about some custom programs we have been using. There good folk here in XP Deus land so ask away (but read Andy's book first):)

And congrats on your new machine.

Yep Andys book is a must!

Also read all you can here, tons of great info....

Agreed! It's the best "accessory" you can buy.

I got my Deus this past Thursday night. Friday morning I went out detecting. All I did was turn the machine on and go. I changed nothing whatsoever mainly because I hadn't had time to read the manual so didn't know what or why to change anything. I ended up finding 3 mercury dimes, 4 Wheaties, and a few pieces of trash. Needless to say I'm excited about the possibilities.

Welcome aboard Bobby.
Andy's book is a "got to have" .....
It will make all of it make sence.
Don't try to make a bunch of adjustments until you understand what they will do.
Pay real close attention to the tones.
The Deus is a tone machine first and a VID second. IMO
Take your time to learn and don't get in a hurry.
You'll love the Deus

I made a few VDI video's back in 2012. The Deus was running V2.0 but the video's are still accurate numbers wise.

You have to actually go to youtube to see the links for the other 3 video's. I covered all 4 frequencies.
