New Years Day 18Kt. Gold

Just got my X-Terra a couple of weeks ago from 7centsworth. Today was my second time out with it and I have to say, the machine is awesome. For me, it's almost a cross between my old XS and the AT Gold. Lightweight, and boy does it sniff out the Gold :)

I hit a couple of tot-lots today and at the second one I found this 18kt. Gold crucifix. It's a great start to the new year!

Have a Blessed New Year everyone!

Greg

I can't wait to see what all you find with it. Will have to try and get together and dos some relic hunting this year.

Congrats on the gold. Looks like you had a lot of finds in your pictures. Happy New Year and Happy Hunting in 2016:detecting:

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Travis, absolutely! That sounds like a plan perhaps at the end of the winter. (I'm traveling a lot this month and next month for work)

Detecting MO: I was using the Minelab DD 6" sniper coil 18.75 khz and the cross came in at a solid 8 on the VDI. (And I mean, a SOLID 8. No jumping up or down.)
I hope this helps.

Woodswalker: I'm originally from NH; Go RED SOX!!!!!!

Happy New Year everyone and Godspeed!

Greg
