Took the F75 to the field for the first time yeaterday.
Followed the suggestion for settings that the guy who sold it to me made.
1) learn to GB
2) set it for all metal and dige evrything. Listen to the tones and learn to associate the noise to what you find.
3) practice pinpointing with the F75 before you dig.
Got the GB down pretty easy.
Getting use to the sounds
Still not real good with the pinpointing. Most of my "finds" where in the side of the hole.
Started off a bit frustrating but was having a blast by the time I packed it up.
Found 1 quarter, 1 nickel, several pennies, and lots of "junk".
Not real sure yet what "deep" is in this hobbie but heres what I did first time out.
Set to all metal and sensitivity set to 80. All other settings where wherever the are "out of the box"
Found :
A quarter at 6-8 inches.
A fairly large key at 8-10 inches
And a real rusty 12 Gram CO2 Cartridge at about 12 ibches down.
These where all found in grass covered ground behind the bleachers at a basaball diamond.
Next time out I may try the descrimination settings.
Thanks for the help
