Newbie - V3.2 vs V4

Greetings,
I just purchased a Deus and haven't even had it out of the house yet.
I thought I would download the update last night so that I would have a backup of 3.2 so that I would have a backup of 3.2 once 4.0 comes out.
I downloaded what I thought would be 3.2 according to the button on the website. (http://www.xpmetaldetectorsamericas.com/deus-update)
Installing the update on my computer states that it is actually V4.

My question is should I as a newbie to the Deus go ahead and update to V4 before attempting to learn the unit (I have Andy's book) or will the update just confuse me?
Alternatively is there a document which explains the difference between the menus of the two versions?
Is there a repository of older versions kept somewhere in case I decide to go to V4 and then later choose to go back to V3.2?

Hi Randy,

I'm also new and saw that too as I had reload the software to fix a coil issue last weekend. But I think it is still 3.2. The install in my remote still has that version listed.

4.0 is due any day.
