have hunted in water about a foot deep and in the wet sand nothing, in the soft sand just clads and lots of penneys. is there a good setting for rings?

Any beach where there is a lot of People, or as we call them depositers. They loss it ,we find it.Dry or wet sand is good but do not take your detector into the water unless you want to buy a new one .
