Newest 7 x10 coil versus the Crossfire 11.......

Anyone use both and care to comment...on the plus and minus when comparing..

The 7x10 outperforms the Crossfire.

Crossfire II:

+ better to pinpoint with than the 7x10
+ better separation in trash
- to much air in the coil ....not for warding.
- will make the detector sound off when you bump the coil against something.

7x10 coil :

+ covers more ground per sweep but
+ no air inside better for warding
+ better made with the rhino tough PROformance coil.
- harder to pinpoint with
- not as good target separation than the 8.5 crossfire II

I wish Garrett would have made a round 9" Proformance Spider coil.
