Pray for peace and comfort.
Posted 4 hours ago
I stayed up with Brian last night until I just couldn't properly care for him. By 4am I was so tired...I woke Carol up after she had about 3 hours of sleep and she took over his care. Carol has been so strong and she has been my rock throughout Brian's Battle.

He once begged me for food and all I could do was hold him and comfort him. And we prayed together.

Carol talked to Jamie early this morning and she took Brian off some of his meds, keeping him only on the ones that will keep him sedated. He is having trouble holding anything down He was only able to take very small amounts of clear liquids yesterday and hasn't taken anything since, other than what we can give with his meds. Of course, he is still on his pain pump.

Right now Brian is resting comfortably.

We want to thank all of you for your prayers over the last few years.

I can say with all my heart, that it has been an absolute privilege to pray for your family, especially Brian. Reading about his journey and his amazing strength and faith has been a spiritual experience for me. My prayers will continue...for strength, peace and comfort. How I look forward to meeting Brian in heaven one day! He will soon be rewarded the most glorious new life, a life free from pain and suffering! Hallelujah!

Thanks Liz, your post says it all very well! I look forward to meeting Brian and my Christian Family in heaven, also! May God Bless the Stucky family with comfort and peace, for the trials have been long and difficult for them! Amen! Ma Betty
