Next Detector ???

Well here's my question. I had A C$ and had to sell it a while back. What I'm looking for is a detector with good depth but not as much in price as the C$. Some say the excel don't go as deep as the C$ and maybe not as good in some areas. Any help will be great.

I Emailed them some questions and they never got back to me so i thought they didn't want sell any detectors.

any other detector dealer. I don't know why people keep expecting to get a better price on a new detector. All metal detector dealers charge the same price. Even Kellyco is no cheaper the Dixie Detectors. If you don't believe me, check their posted prices on any of their web sites. Their all the same prices for the leading brands of detectors.
So if you know something that I don't, then please share it with me and the rest of us so that we can partake of the deal as well.

I didn't check all dealers mine you, but most of the sponsors and their prices were exactly the same.

Ted,
Personally I would stick with the coinstrike as I have seen some super deals on used ones on the classifieds. I have seen them go for as low as 450. You just can't beat the prices. Why guys sell them for so low is beyond me?? The only thing I would consider comparable is maybe a used cz5 at a good used price.

if you really can't afford a C$. I don't see much of a depth dropoff at all. The Excel just does not have all the bells & whistles a C$ does. But stuff like tracking & averaging & memory don't get used much anyhow...so I would say go for the Excel.

Yeah, I know you don't get the lifetime warranty
but they are made really well, as are all the
Fishers. Just looked and saw one with 8 and 10 1/2"
coils for sale on another forum. Just like all
the C$ features myself but the Excel is a mighty
fine machine too. Your call for sure but I would
stick with Fisher if it were my money. Best of
luck in your selection.

How about a Toysoro Crapola? TR says he finds rare unlisted buttins 29" deep! <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">
