Nice 3 silver morning hunt!

Had planned to swing the LTD this morning, but remember the batteries were getting low, so grabbed the Omega and headed out to a spot that has been yielding quite nicely of late. As a result, I ended up with 2 Barber quarters and a seated dime for the 3 silvers and also got a 1910 wheat cent, a big minnie, some camp lead, 2 what's its, 1 clad quarter, 10 dimes, 1 nickel and 5 Memorials. Oh, and the usual trash. All 3 of the silvers have O mint marks. I think the 1 Barber quarter is a 1893, but not sure. The other is an 1895 and the Seated dime is a 1842. The Seated was but a faint high tone whisper and a digger marked measured 6 1/2" deep. One of the Barber quarters was 7" + and slightly on edge. The vdi on the Seated was actually better then the audio. My 100 silver goal for the year has been reached and am at 101. No more counting. Had on the 11" coil with sen of 99, 1 disc, d3 tones and gb of 62. The Omega ran quiet and stable, even with a nearby power line. Thanks for looking. HH jim tn

Congratulations on reaching your 100 goal. That was an awesome hunt to boot. I am guessing you will be close to 150 silver by years end. Good luck and HH.

for the kind words. I have been fortunate since retiring in 06 to have had a couple of quality yielding sites in my area as well as finding one here and there in our travels. I am also very fortunate to have an extremely understanding spouse that allows me the chance to hunt daily. I truly really don't set annual silver goals, but when I see that I am getting within striking range of 100, then it does become a challenge to see if that number can be achieved. One goal I do have, though, is to find a gold coin and come winter on this particular site, I am going to do some "dig it all" days. I just know there is a gold coin(s) out there on this spot. It also helps one's attitude to be swinging something one has faith in and I do have faith in the Tek and Fisher detectors I use. Again, thanks. HH jim tn

Great way to break 100 Jim, man you have some great spots to hunt

It took me the better part of four years to finally find my first barber quarter...now for some large seated coins :drinking:
