But we have escaped the storms and tornado warnings....heard a tornado hit Nashville, IL and I didn't even know they had a Nashville in IL. God is so good for all the rain, storms and tornadoes to go to the East (sad for you folks in IL though) and not through our vicinity!

Watched and listened to Adrian Rogers this morning on TV and he really preached a good sermon and always does....he makes it so clear by his words and actions while preaching....It is so saaaad that he passed from earth so soon, for he was/is a dedicated servant of the Lord! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for His videos still being used!

Hope all are enjoying the day that the Lord has made by rejoicing and being glad in it! I'm lazy today (well almost everyday) and need the Lord to push me into getting more done.....takes sooo long and Cliff and I get soooo tired, but I'm sure we will eventually getter done....even if I have to sell my home as is and hope someone will buy it and redo it themselves, although I probably won't be able to get it sold quickly or the finances that I need! But Jesus is my very best Friend and He will help! He is my All in all! God Bless! Ma Betty

Amen and amen

Ma have you ever heard of Scott Air Force Base in Illinois? Nashville, IL is east, southeast of there just south of I-64. I used to do pest control work there when I lived in Centralia, Illinois. Not a big place, maybe 500 people. A tornado hit about 25 miles southeast of where my family lives in Salem. Haven't talked to them yet to see if it was a bad one, as if there are good ones.

Windy here also was going to detect with my father in law at an old homestead after supper, but it started pouring down rain.

Sorry about the rain keeping you both from :detecting: but ya never know about the weather as it changes every minute or hour it seems! It didn't rain here but a tornado hit in Grafton, IL and moved a church 3 foot off its foundation and destroyed a home near it and some mobile homes! Seems as if the whole world, including the weather, has turned topsy turvy and satan is sure busy trying to destroy anyone he thinks he can, but he has no power but what God allows him to have and God is more powerful than that old liar! Hope you find some nice goodies when you do get to go :detecting: There is always a next time, unless tomorrow never comes! :) God Bless! Betty
