night time torch

saw these on the net and was wondering if anybody has tried them for night hunting,looking for one that can be used to see display on detector without being to bright so as not to draw too much attention and without affecting night vision,

I have a little one I clip on the front of my shirt, brim of my hat, or even the side of the detector arm cuff, I taped up the sides so it only shines a small beam on the screen, or in front of me. Green really lights up the woods at night well, I prefer it to the other colors. I prefer hunting with no light at all, and just going by tones, a light comes in handy every once in a while, and can be used as a self defense tool if approached by somebody who has no business being out at night...just shine it in their eyes...Mud
