Nine ringer

steve in so la

Well-known member
I thought I'd post an unusual dig - a nine ringer from a Civil War fort. I have dug 2 of these so far from an old fort that experimented with new & unusual fire arms. After I dug this one I looked into the site's history in the library and found an article that told all about the experimental arms that were going on then. Steve in so az

Some of those experimental bullets are rare and worth some cash!

That is one good bullet!

Congrats Steve and you might end up a millionaire detectorist yet!!! Never saw or heard of nine ringers...nice bullet!

God Bless!
