No 4 kHz program in V4?

Had to download twice due to screen freeze. Seems okay now but just noticed no 4 kHz program with my 11 inch coil. Am I missing something? Hoping to get out this weekend.

looking at the list of stock V4 programs XP didn't do any on 4K. Interesting. you can use any program you like and drop the freq to 4K if you want. it just won't stay there once you turn the detector off unless you save the program in one of the custom slots.

I will save a program with 4 kHz. Mainly use it for checking bottle cap targets and depth. Surprised the stock deep program doesn't utilize it. No biggie. GL, HH and thanks for response.

Like mentioned, you can change any of the presets to 4 kh but you don't get the option of changing the tx power. Must all be on tx3. I didn't read up on it but I'm sure it tells in the v4 manual. I would run 4kh more but tx3 is to hot for most of my area.

I built an identical program in 4K next to the one that I usually use just to check for bottle caps just like I did in V3.2...
Other than CZ I don't hear of anyone else detecting in 4K on a regular basis.

4K s great for coins, gives the best spread between numbers......

I have changed all my stock programs but I thought the V4 came with the "deep" program that ran at 4Khz? If it doesn't just change it it to 4Khz and save it as a new custom program.
