No detecting today but still had some good finds....

Pete in MI

I got a nice 'eyeball' find today in the parking lot of Wal-mart.

Despite all the warnings people have told me over the years to "never take any ..... ......" I couldn't resist.

Did a check and found out Commerce, MI is down by Troy. Livonia area.
Here is the website for the township there.

My second good find was a find in a geocache. It was a Travel Bug:

Here's me with it so others can see I have it.

This 'bug' is to travel from cache to cache to see how many miles it can make. Here is a link to info about it:

http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=7f4d4aa0-f133-46f8-ab5a-9d48d6abe37e

It started out in Texas and so far - up to the cache I found it in - it has travelled 1967.2 miles going from cache.

Next cache I go to I will drop this off in it and add even more miles to its travels.

Geocaching is a fun hobby that goes well with detecting...especially in the research of old places to detect.

Some of these hidden caches are ingeniously hidden. Found one today in a Wal-mart parking lot....well hidden.
Cache I'd like to find would be some gold coins...and who knows maybe one day... :)
