No Gold at Bone Creek

This little creek that cut thru our property will fool you, the 12" wide run of water along the bank can be 2' deep. best to probe before you step.
Lots of huge quartz boulders on the hillside just beyond the creek
 
Looks like a pretty, peacefully area.
 
Looks can be deceiving. Many years back my buddy is driving along in his 1979 Ford F150 pickup truck and sees a puddle on the side of the road....He drives right for it and BOOM! That puddle was DEEP. So deep, he hit the underneath of his frame on the right side but was able to get out. That was scary as I was the passenger. :rofl: I can laugh now however It wasn't funny at the time. Moral of the story don't assume :blink:
