I did find one foreign coin, 22 quarters, 23 dimes, 12 nickels, 21 pennies and over 200 hundred old beaver style pull tabs. I asked the grounds keeper at a church if it was OK for me to dig on the ball field since it was being back filled with grub material. The grub material was being removed from the football field bleacher area so the church could expand its parking lot. Grub material is the top few inches of soil and grass that's removed before construction starts. Well I wasn't finding much on the ball field, but when ran my coil over the grub material that was being spread on the ball field, my Tesoro Bandido II uMax starting beeping just about everywhere I swept the coil. The Bandido's discrimination was set as low as it could go. I was looking for gold and digging was easy. I just knew that over the years at that old bleacher area, someone had to lose a gold ring. I got acquainted and made friends with the dozer and truck driver. They assured me that they wouldn't run me over while I dug. Yeah, I was smart enough to also go over the area that the grub material came from in hopes of finding some deep silver coins. I swung and dug until I nearly dropped from heat exhaustion. No gold or silver coins this time, be it's just a matter of time.
