No longer on facebook

Deactivated my facebook account as of today. Found that there are too many liberal backbiters on there for me, and some of them I know personally. Funny what people will post thinking no one they know will read it. I will stick to this forum.

I missed that last few days but I know Doug has had several non-Christian (and some Christians...liberal...let's change the Bible to make it sweet and flowery instead of being Truth) giving him a rash of 'evil speak'.

I don't blame you Doug. Will miss you on FB but no reason to stay there. I have on many occasions thought of dropping off FB - and still might sometime.

One thing I mentioned on FaceBook was that 'people did not want to hear what Jesus had to say. Did not want to hear the Truth. They persecuted Him and Jesus told us in His Word the world knew Him not and that they would persecute us as well."

Will miss your faith filled Word posts Doug. God bless you.

thanks Pete. I appreciated your support on facebook. The ones that were giving me the most heat were ones I used to go to church with or work with. They are liberal and don't pay attention to what is going on in the real world. I said my peace on facebook, and may pop in once in awhile to roust things up a bit. Enjoy being here on this forum. Great friends and Christians. Hope to meet up with you and Mike up in Michigan sometime this summer.

Sorry, Doug, for your having to leave in witnessing on FaceBook, which I have never been on, I know how cruel others can be, when they just want the goody-goodness of Jesus told rather than the truth!

For God is a jealous God and a God of Wrath, as well as His mercy and goodness which endureth forever, but He won't always be there trying the one who will not believe or trust in Jesus, although He is long-suffering, He won't always be, for sinners must face the consequences of their unforgiven sins, by their keeping on sinning willfully against Him! The great tribulation upon Earth will come and God's Judgement Day at His great, white throne will come and every knee shall bow and call Jesus, Lord, but they'll be cast out and not enter into the glorious, promised land called Heaven or new Jerusalem City!

Only the ones truly believing in Jesus, as their own personal Savior and obeying God's Commandments will enter into the loving and blessedness of God! The ones who want to believe and do what God says in His Holy Word, the Bible, His absolute truth, want to enter in their own way and think that all ways will get them into Heaven! Which is certainly not true, or Jesus would not have died and shed His blood for all sinners that we Might be saved and all are born sinners and are sinners when not accepting and believing in Jesus after the age of acknowledgement when they can hear and know God's truth that will set them free from entering the gates of hell and then be cast into the Lake of Fire! Oh, WOE, are they who will not see nor hear the truth the servants of God are telling and showing them!

I don't have the strength to fight them with the Word of God when they just attack and refuse to listen or read what is truth and not lies! I just post what I am given by God's Holy Spirit on this forum, where I can encourage and receive encouragement from my Brothers and Sisters in Christ! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

The sentence should be---- the ones who don't want to believe and don't do what God says,--------------------want to enter in their own way! Sorry, but my brain works faster than these old arthritic fingers and I often leave out or mispell words....sometimes I remember how to spell but other times I don't! I try to proofread before posting but missed seeing this sentence was written wrong and sorry my posts are so long, but that is what is given me and that I remember by the Holy Spirit of God....if I say something wrong then it is my flesh and not God! Face Book can be okay if you have the right people involved. I almost never post but my wife does a lot. She plays that restaurant thing whatever that is. It looks dumb to me but she wanted me to start an account so it could help her restaurant somehow.

But when it comes to taking a true Christian stand one is going to face opposition. It's been this way since the beginning. As a rule, religious people (questionable rather they really do believe) today aren't real sure what it is they really do believe.

Today the religious of all denominations are suckers for any clever charismatic leader/speaker. That is, as long as he promises blessings to those who sin. The average "believer" today is only concerned with pleasures, money, and power. When it comes time to vote he'll gladly sacrifice human life if it might mean (in his warped thinking) more money in his pocket.

We're in the last days gentlemen and it ain't going to get better till Christ returns.
