No sense of humor.....

Hmmmmm... well, now lets see, Doug. I'm pretty sure Tim doesn't "play dumb." That's NO act!!! Hahahahaha!!!!!!

As for the "gabby" thing, Ma, I LOVE to talk!!!! But, more than the majority of men I know can talk circles around me (or any other woman), ANY DAY. Woman are more 'detail' oriented in their talking, but men talk just as much. Actually, I get so fed up with Tim talking ALL THE TIME when we are around other people. He is gonna 'hold the floor' in every social situation. Sometimes I think he talks just to hear himself talk!!!!! And tells EVERYTHING he knows. If there is something I don't want told, I sure don't tell him... and caution others to do the same. [I'm saying all of this with a smile, but it IS the truth]

I can honestly say that I have never played the old tears/crying card. I know a couple of ladies who do that and it makes me MAD when they do. Ain't no need to cry, just put your foot down and tell'em how it's gonna be! ;-)

Just a little friendly 'fire' Doug!! Just teasing you a little - even if it IS the truth.

Thanks for the laugh, Lisa! Actually I never cried to get my way either, I cried because I got my feelings hurt or was so angry that I dare not say anything that I would be sorry or suffer for later!

I've seen men gather in small towns in the stores and in front of churches or other places and talked, talked and talked! What about I really don't know, as I didn't hang around them.....like I said I was scared of most people! My brother, Larry, was raised like me and really didn't talk much, only when telling others about Jesus and His saving grace! He was quiet and went about his own business most of the time!

My ex would push my buttons until I let the built up steam out but never did hit him or my kids....just told them what-for when I was irritated enough and they knew I meant what I was saying! I am strong in some ways and weak in others! I take, take and take until I've had enough, for I never could say what I wanted to or felt to do at home and really being timid from the way I was raised! Now that I'm saved and have the love of Jesus, I am more patient with others, even when they are telling me off or complaining about what is happening or going on around them! I told my neighbor, Anna Marie, you are my neighbor and friend and I love you, after her torrential bawling me out about me and others that she didn't like what was done or said, even happening years ago (certainly holds gudges) ! I think it shook her up and she came back sheeply the next day, but didn't apologize! I don't think she ever does and loses her temper often when things don't go the way she wants them to, as she is a perfectionist! We haven't talked to each other since Cliff became so ill and died! She is a busy Catholic going to church, taking the Sacraments, daily, and doing good works! But that is okay, as that way she can't be bothering others or being a busy body! Don't get me wrong, I still consider her, as my neighbor, still my friend!

May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
