Went out to detect at a local community park today and on the way there I saw a sign saying water shortage.. Anyway didn't do too bad, I had a great time. There's a lot of clad here, they're only about an inch down sometimes on the surface just buried underneath grass (I came out of here 3 weeks ago with over $22 in clad in 2 hours). Its a new park but there's kids playing soccer from April to August so they tend to loose a lot of coins and occasionally jewelry. I don't know what it is but I'm doing good on silver rings but not gold rings (for FEB) . LOL I'll take it though. HAPPY HUNTING GUYS.

Also I was gonna tell you the other day, I hunted a place quite similar to that one and I got 6 silver rings out of there but not one gold...all sorts of clad, interesting foreign coins...but no gold...so I just chalked it up to the demographics of the field...but I still go back hunting for it, that many rings like you are finding, theres gotta be a pony in there someplace!
