Non Metal Detecting find

My wife and I have been hitting the rummage and garage sales hard lately. Always looking for some "junk" to sell on ebay. I stumbled across approx 1500 of these milk caps. The odd thing is that the town, Colman SD, is the town that both myself and my wife grew up in. Man, you never know what you will find.
Anyone know anything about milk caps?

The great looking milk caps you have set on top of the old glass quart glass milk bottles; pint bottles also. When I was a kid thats all there were. Back when the milk was delivered to your home & if it was below freezing outside the cream would rise up out of the milk bottle neck & the cap would be sitting on top of the cream 2" above the bottle. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

They are collectable, you can find a variety of them on ebay.
