I have been to churches where people turn away from me or turned their noses up because I wasn't wearing a suit but instead came in wearing clean bluejeans and a nice shirt.

I was being rejected because of a misunderstanding of

MATTHEW 7:15
"BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS,WHO COME IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.BUT INWARDLY THEY ARE RAVENOUS WOLVES".

You see I think they did not hear it correctly. I think they heard 'beware of false prophets for they wear cheap clothing..."

Told that to a minister on time and he broke out in laughter saying I think I have been to that church

What clothes does God look at? The ones on the outside or the ones on the inside? How many of those people in fine suits and fancy dresses are wearing clean white clothes on the inside?

it is also in hard times that false profits show up and bing in desperat times people fall for thear line remember Y2K all the ministers who sold books and made much prophet from thear sails then it never happened was God telling them to write books and sell tapes and sell survival supplys ??? really jesus would have tiped thear tables always consult God the father and the lord jesus crist and beware
