:nopity:CALL ME CRAZY!!!

Woodchuck

New member
You can call me Crazy ! I just picked up a near mint Tesoro Eldorado (Yes the one everybody wants) it has a small tear in arrn cup foam.,and coil looks like its never been used..So I will replace the foam pad and get a coill cover for it.And then it will be 99.9 % perfect .Though it looks almost brand spanking new,and I will let it collect dust..Thats right I don't need it, won it on fleesbay,I was hoping that I would get overbid no such luck..So now I have a detector I don't really need. I got two brand new other detectors I still have to learn and use..Why did I get IT? I just can't say no when it comes to a detector deal. God help me I need my head examined,And most likely a place to stay after my wife finds out.:sadwalk:PS. NOT FOR SALE! until I get tired of looking at it.

lol woodchuck. I was just hopin' around forums and read your post about not getting another one. ya gotta find at least one good target with it . That will justify getting it :)

You have my sympaty. I bought two 5900 di pr sl knowing well that will have no time to use them. But i love them. Now I have 15 metal detectors....:surrender:

If you're crazy, I am too. I've got a pretty full stable of Tesoros, including the Eldorado. (One of my favorites)

Hi BB,Not being a SA but I gotta prod you just a bit toward getting your # 16. Lol, then you will have as many as me.I see a deal, buy it, give my son a couple, give a digging Buddy one, then another digging Buddy gives me one, and before I know it I have more than when I started trying to get rid of some, What a mess of machines on my wall! Hehe, BB, you be there at 16 soon enough without my prodding though, cause that's just the way we are, lol. And poor ole Woodchuck ain't got a chance, He's headed for a long stay in the "doghouse" and not likely to get any good advice from me or you, Right On, with our sympathy for you Woodchuck! Jus use-em when you can, or loan-em to a get a nooby hooked.Hehe, and that'll ease your grieve and time in the doghouse a bit. HH, Charlie

Man you guys have so many. I only have one, the Tesoro Vaquero, lol. I wish I could add to the arsenal

Please excuse me fellers,Dang it, I got BB, Woodchuck, and Akille68 all mixed up.I screwed things up so bad I will have to let y'all figure it out. Getting old is sometimes way to confusing and much to frequent for me. HH, Charlie

Well, I haven't listed all mine as I've added to the arsenal since filling out my profile. I haven't got 16, but I'm working on it, lol.
BB

I have a CoinStrike and a Golden. Both are excellent in their own way. My brain can't handle another detector, two is enough.

I just don't get it. Why do people need so many detectors? Three should be enough for anyone.

Deciding on which three is the hard part.:)

LOL I won't go into how many different diggers I have ,trying to find that utimate digger

I have worked my way through 48 different detectors since 1961 and currently have 12, of which 3 are in constant use. Infinium, Spectrum XLT, Sov XS and just recently, to make it 4 the sand Shark.
For me it is a combination of technical interest along with a desire to find the best metal detector I can afford to suit my needs at the time.

Hey Woodchuck, I have a bunch of detectors, but been using the same modded/choped off "sharp shooter" for over 40 years. It worked better than any I tried and broke my first couple of years diggin, so I just stuck with it. Lot's of my machines are pretty old /old school too but don't think I would have been so happy a digger had I stuck with my very first machine, which still works and is hanging on my wall.HH Charlie
